Today's Atlas is designed for public reading without a user account. We collect only the operational data required to deliver, protect, and improve the service, such as server logs, approximate network information, requested URLs, device information, and error reports.
Cookies
A functional cookie remembers your light or dark theme. Administrative authentication uses secure session cookies. Analytics or measurement services, including StatCounter and BYOViral when enabled, may use cookies or similar technologies to measure visits, performance, and referral activity.
Advertising and Google AdSense
Today's Atlas may use Google AdSense after approval. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve, limit, personalize, and measure ads. Google explains how it uses information from sites and apps that use its services in its partner-sites privacy notice. You can manage Google advertising preferences through Google Ads Settings.
Where required, visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland will be shown a consent message supplied through a Google-certified consent management platform before personalized advertising is used. Refusing personalized advertising does not prevent access to the atlas.
External services
Maps, images, weather data, embedded code, advertising, and source links may connect to external providers. Their privacy terms apply when your browser requests those resources or you follow a link.
Your choices
You may request information about stored personal data or ask for its deletion by contacting [email protected]. We retain security logs only as long as needed for abuse prevention and operations. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies, although some preferences may no longer persist.
