Linqu is a city and county located within Shandong province, China, positioned at the coordinates 36.51556 latitude and 118.53972 longitude. The urban center forms part of the administrative framework operating under the Asia/Shanghai timezone, utilizing the CNY currency, and supporting multiple languages including Mandarin Chinese (zh-CN), Yue, Wuu, Dta, Uyghur, and Zhuang.

Daily movement across the territory connects its urban core with 937 villages, which are organized into eight townships and two subdistricts. Originally known as Pianyi and also possessing the historical name Zhuxu County, the jurisdiction covers an area of 1,834 square kilometers (708 square miles) in the middle of the Shandong Peninsula and the southwest of Weifang.
